How to Make Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Prep and preheat: Preheat the oven to 350โ (177โ). Line baking sheet pans with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
- Make the cookie dough: Cream the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and mix well. Add in the dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt) and mix until the cookie dough forms. Fold in the Oreo cookie crumbs, semisweet chocolate chips, and roughly chopped Oreo cookies until well dispersed throughout the dough.
- Bake the cookies: Portion the cookie dough using a large cookie scoop (3 tablespoons). Place the cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking pans, allowing space for spreading. Bake the cookies for about 12 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Imperial AND Metric. NICE, thanks. Going to try these cookies very soon.
Hope you enjoy!
Different and fun! Nice and chocolatey. Husband would have eaten them all if I let him. Made 4 dozen regular sized cookies.
Thanks so much for trying the recipe!
The cookies taste very good. Thank you for the recipe. We made the 2x batch and the dough was very stiff and crumbly. They were hard to form. The 2x and 3x doesnโt add an extra yolk only an extra egg. Is that correct for the recipe? We questioned it but wanted to follow the instructions.
Hi Amy! I will take a look at the recipe card and see what I can do about the 2x and 3x conversion! My apologies!
Hi Courtney, I made these cookies on Monday and they were all gone when I woke up the next morning by the cookie monsters in my house. They were one of the best cookies I have tasted. Thank you for sharing. My family wants me to make another batch this weekend. I will be making a lot more from you as I will not be buying store bought any longer! Blessings to you!
